Cofounders Noufal and Fardan took long walks during their college days. They were both young and young at heart. The bustling streets of Chennai overheard their unending conversations while the enchanting aroma of eateries excited them. The food talks continued, as did their thoughts on a successful food journey. The best part of their journey was establishing a diner space and spreading it around as an all-day, complete restaurant with fresh, delicious, wholesome, authentic cuisines. They named their dream Zaitoon, true to the eternal beauty and lasting association of the plant with rich food culture.
How fitting that name would end up to be. Upon the beginning of a multi-cuisine restaurant at Adayar in 2009, their passion and desire to expand the culture of healthy, genuine eating increased and ultimately became contagious under the Zaitoon brand. With 12 branches in India and Qatar, Zaitoon creates an ideal eating environment for a casual yet efficient experience grounded on a full-service attitude.
